Timothy L. Williams, a.k.a. Tilt, was born on July 5th, 1987 to Joann Williams and William Moore.
The universal rap star Tilt was born and raised in Augusta, GA — son of a gospel artist and a full-time mother. Tilt comes from a line of world-renowned artists, such as R&B sensation Urban Mystic, gospel legend Bryan Williams of Sensere, and the 90's bass star 12Gauge.
He made his jump into the rap industry while still a teenager, working his way up the artist ladder by performing at various venues throughout his home state. He was and still is inspired by T.I., Nelly, 50 Cent and Ludacris. His rap style is versatile with a hardcore twist.
Tilt was also part of a duo called The Swagg Brothers, formed in 2007. Shortly after forming, he and his partner had their first performance at a club called Spaceship. Later they performed at venues like Club Dirty South, Club ThrowBack, Club Crucial and Club Miami in Atlanta, GA.
As time went on, Tilt made his appearance as a solo rap artist and has been very successful in doing so, with debuts in St. Louis and at Club Drama, Club Legite, Club Nightlife and many others. He's consistent in his endeavors, and his goal is to become a successful major artist in the music industry.
